Whether you are a business seeking to develop a new product or an employee looking to expand your skill set, we have new opportunities within aquaculture research and education at Fleming College.
Building on our renowned Aquaculture (Co-op) post-graduate program, we have added a new Aquaculture Foundations certificate program. This program is delivered online with a culminating work placement either at our on-campus fish hatchery at our Frost Campus in Lindsay, Ont., or with an employer of your choice. It features a unique emphasis on Indigenous studies, with Indigenous practices and approaches to aquaculture embedded across the curriculum.
We also recently opened our Centre for Innovative Aquaculture Production (CIAP), a facility for industry-focused research. Research projects take pace both on-site at our hatchery, or at partner locations.
