Idaho to host in-person NWFCC conference

The 71st Northwest Fish Culture Concepts (NWFCC) annual meeting and workshops will be held in Boise, Idaho this year on Dec. 7-9, 2021. The conference includes presentations on fish production strategies, fish health and nutrition, monitoring and assessment, genetics and physiology, new species/conservation culture, and advances in infrastructure and hatchery technology.


NOAA and USDA seek public input on aquaculture strategic plans

“The Strategic Plan to Enhance Regulatory Efficiency” and “The Strategic Plan for Federal Aquaculture Research” are undergoing a 45-day comment period to help establish a road map to increase overall effectiveness of federal regulation, research and technology transfer.
