Public opinion poll on a U.S. offshore aquaculture industry

Stronger America Through Seafood commissioned a survey from May 20-23, 2022 to gain opinions of 1,020 likely voters about a U.S. aquaculture, or fish farming, industry.


Saltonstall-Kennedy grant accepts pre-proposals for FY23 projects

The Saltonstall-Kennedy program administers a yearly grant competition, which annually funds approximately 40 projects for US$10 million that lead to the promotion, development and marketing of U.S. fisheries.

New Aquaculture Program at Fleming College

Fleming College is launching a new Aquaculture Foundations certificate this fall. The program is two semesters online, culminating with a 90-hour work placement to provide real-world experience. The placement allows students to put theory into practice and provides valuable on-the-job training. Students can complete their placement at the Fleming fish hatchery at the Frost Campus in Lindsay, Ont., or at a placement with an industry employer.
