In a bold economic step forward, the Ashinaabeg of Naongashiing First Nation (AON) in Northwestern Ontario are developing their first aquaculture projects. “It has been a long time since our community has been this excited,” said Sonny McGinnis, AON’s economic development officer.


Pacific Seafood responds to conservation groups' Clean Water Act lawsuit

Pacific Seafood Aquaculture is disputing all claims made by a lawsuit filed against the company's environmental practices. The Center for Food Safety and Wild Fish Conservancy are suing Pacific Seafood for violating the Clean Water Act at three steelhead net pen facilities along the Columbia River.
