Changes to Temporary Foreign Worker program coming in September

The federal government has announced changes to the Temporary Foreign Worker program it says are intended to weed out potential misuse, fraud and employers' reliance on temporary foreign workers. The changes, effective Sept. 26, include reductions in access to the program and strengthened compliance measures.


FDA issues draft guidance aiming to reduce sodium intake by 20%

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has begun Phase II of its voluntary sodium reduction targets, issuing draft guidance that aims to lower sodium levels by approximately 20 per cent of consumer intake levels prior to 2021.
