The CH-15 is a quick don escape hood for respiratory protection from CBRN hazards. This new model replaces the popular NH-15. It is easier to carry, smaller and still provides the same protection as its predecessor. But unlike its predecessor it is now one size fits all reducing inventory costs. It also comes in a new compact case.
The CH-15 provides wearers with respiratory, vision and facial CBRN protection for a minimum 15 minutes to allow sufficient time to evacuate from a contaminated area. It can achieve critical CBRN respiratory protection within 30 seconds of opening the protective packaging and donning the reflective hood.
