The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) serves a community with over 2000 members and net operating budget of $343.9 million.
The OPS Board is seeking a transformational leader who models the values of honour, courage and service and champions a culture of diversity, respect, and inclusion. A leader is sought who will rebuild the confidence of the Service and the public, ensuring effective police services are delivered. The Chief will increase efforts to respond to the findings of race-based data, including outreach efforts to marginalized and racialized populations.
A sworn member of confirmed rank of Superintendent or above, you have obtained substantial strategic management capacity and have led large-scale change initiatives. You have demonstrated ability to work in partnership with other Services.
