A nearly year-long review of Ontario’s three police oversight bodies is set to be released today by Justice Michael Tulloch. He was asked last April to make recommendations to enhance the transparency and accountability of the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), the Office of the Independent Police Review Director (OIPRD) and the Ontario Civilian Police Commission (OCPC).

The president of the vigilante group Surrey Creep Catchers says he was arrested Monday night following a confrontation with a man the organization's members accused of being a pedophile. Ryan LaForge, president of the group, posted a Facebook Live video late Monday saying he was “arrested and charged for assault” after conducting a “citizen's arrest” of a target.
