The future of police recruiting in Edmonton

Edmonton Police Service recruiters felt that good candidates were failing their applications due to small problems that could be easily solved with a bit of mentoring — problems such as a lack of confidence, or discomfort with the demanding academy expectations that often go hand-in-hand with police training. In response, the EPS created the Mentoring Academy.

Pedal for the Past raises $18.4K for OPP Museum

Friends of the OPP Museum, a non-profit organization that supports and promotes the museum, hosted its Annual Pedal for the Past event in Midland, Ont. at Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons historic site.
