The Ontario Special Constable Association (OSCA) hosted its second annual summit recently, celebrating wins from the past year and fostering “deeper connections” between members through expert speakers and training sessions.


Speed cornerstone of Winnipeg police project to virtually respond to break ins

Police in Winnipeg have rolled out a pilot project that will allow them to virtually respond to residential break-ins and possibly reduce the public’s wait time when reporting such crimes. The project uses online video platforms to get in touch with homeowners.


Boat and 26 chinook seized amid allegations of overfishing off B.C.’s coast

The Mounties have seized a nine-metre fishing boat and more than two dozen chinook salmon over what they say are allegations of “significant overfishing.”
