Halton Regional Police Service civilian member publishes book on initiative to “bury cancer”

In February 2013, one Halton Regional Police Service civilian member took approximately a million steps across Ontario, from Windsor to Ottawa, pulling a 125-pound sled with the word “cancer” on it, to raise awareness and funds for the Canadian Cancer Society. Now, he’s written a book about the journey.


Canadian police chiefs meet virtually to discuss key policing issues

Police leaders from provincial, municipal and First Nations police services across the country came together on Sept. 17 to discuss working collectively to tackle key issues facing the Canadian policing community.
