Peel Regional Police set to deploy its first electric vehicle

Peel Regional Police’s first-ever electric police vehicle has been delivered. The Region of Peel has committed to reducing greenhouse gas emissions 45 per cent below 2010 levels by 2030. This exciting new addition to the fleet is the next step after introducing the Ford Interceptor Hybrid Electric Vehicle in marked patrol use.


The RCMP trials using satellite and hyperspectral aerial imaging to locate remains of missing persons

The RCMP’s National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR) is undertaking a Missing Persons Advanced Technology initiative, which uses advancements in satellite and hyperspectral imaging technologies to detect places where human remains, linked to missing person cases, may be partially or shallowly buried or discarded.


2021 annual hate crime statistical report findings, reported hate crimes increase by 22 per cent
