Expert warns of ‘perfect storm’ as the number of police shootings increases in 2022

A tally compiled by The Canadian Press has found police shot 87 people in Canada between Jan. 1 and Nov. 30 – 46 fatally. It marks a nearly 25 per cent increase from 2021, when officers fired on 70 people and 37 were killed.
