RCMP working with international police amid new slew of threats targeting synagogues

Mounties say they are responding to additional bomb threats made across Canada today that they believe are linked to similar threats made the day before. RCMP say they responded to the threats alongside local police at synagogues, museums, malls, ports, art galleries and more.


Toronto Police announce 177 charges as part of Project Beacon

In late June, the Service announced the creation of Project Beacon, which involved specialty squads, divisional uniform members and strategically deployed resources to address tow truck related crimes. Today, the Service announced the arrests of four people and 177 charges laid in connection with one homicide and 13 tow truck related shootings as part of this initiative.


National Police Federation releases data on policing in Alberta
