The Ontario government is expanding access to comprehensive mental health and rehabilitation treatment for first responders affected by work-related stress or trauma, including post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI), by investing in the construction of Runnymede Healthcare Centre’s Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Centre of Excellence for First Responders.


RCMP in P.E.I. expands digital forensics team to meet growing demand for electronic evidence analysis

From drug investigations, child pornography, homicides, assaults to online crimes, there are very few investigations that can’t be assisted with digital evidence. Recognizing this critical need, the P.E.I. RCMP has doubled its capacity to collect and analyze digital evidence, creating two dedicated positions in its digital forensics unit.
