Pellet Party: Celebrating 150 years of sustainable energy in Canada

The Wood Pellet Association of Canada is inviting you to help celebrate Canada's 150th birthday in the nation's capital with a pellet party at the historic Mill Street Brewery!

The party will kick of kick off WPAC 2017, the association’s annual conference and AGM. Live Entertainment will be provided by Anna Ludlow, is a Nova Scotia-born, Ottawa-based musician. Anna combines traditional Cape Breton style Celtic music with Jazz, Blues and Electronic influences to create her own unique style of music she likes to call Maritime Fiddle Fusion.

Built in 1842, the historic Thompson-Perkins Mill pays homage to the rich Canadian history of brewing, as brewery and distillery operations have flourished in the vicinity of the Flats and Chaudière Island over centuries. The site and building offer unique views of the Capital, attractive access to the Ottawa River and exemplify the history and industrial heritage of Canada’s Capital Region.
