Are you up to date on the economics, risks and opportunities of biomass-based heat installations in Ontario?
The Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change introduced new guidelines for the installation and operation of biomass-fuelled systems earlier this year. These guidelines along with Ontario’s cap and trade program have changed the policy landscape for bioheat developers and operators.
Ecostrat along with the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Messersmith are hosting a bioheat workshop in conjunction with the Wood Pellet Association of Canada 2017 Conference and AGM in Ottawa this fall. The workshop will promote bioheat in Ontario and bring attendees up to speed on the latest government policies.
