Seeking Vice President Forestry Products

Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Ltd. (www.iem.ca) designs and manufactures equipment typically used in mining, forestry and oil sands. In recent years the forestry component related to debarking and chip processing has grown considerably. The company has been in operation since 1953 and is privately owned with an attractive employee ownership program. We have a 50,000 square foot shop located in Surrey, BC and a 25,000 square foot shop in Jakarta, Indonesia.

We require a Vice President Forestry Products to head up our focus on innovative fibre supply management to all aspects of the forest industry. The successful candidate will have a technical and operational background with several years' experience related to fibre supply from debarking to chip screening. The position is expected to be based in Surrey BC, however, the market being served is worldwide and will involve considerable travel.

IEM will be seeking a new President to lead the company within a few years. The successful candidate for this position will be a candidate for that role. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to a qualified candidate.
