Find out how bioheat can help fight climate change at the Maritime Bioheat Conference

Heating with biomass is something that has long been done in Europe, but Canada lags behind, despite its potential to help fight climate change. For example, by using local natural and renewable resources, provinces like Nova Scotia and New Brunswick could reduce CO2 emissions by 3.2 million tonnes per year. It could also result in a savings of nearly $1 billion for household and commercial heating across these two provinces.

Join us at the Maritime Bioheat Conference on June 2, at 1:00 p.m. Atlantic time, to learn more about the environmental and economic benefits of biomass heating from a range of speakers including Kody Blois, MP for Kings-Hans, Nova Scotia, Dr. Jamie Stephen of TorchLight Bioresources Inc., Theo Lossier from Biomass Solutions Biomasse, and Gustav Melin from the Swedish Bioenergy Association.

You don’t want to miss the opportunity to hear from these and other speakers about the benefits that bioheat can bring to the Maritimes!
