The Circular Bioeconomy: A Collaborative Path to Net Zero

The vital role of the bioeconomy in realizing Canada’s net zero aspirations will be explored in the virtual 2021 Canadian Bioeconomy Conference and Exhibition, which will be held on June 22 and 23 from 8am to 11am (pacific time) both days.

Registration is now open for the conference. Click Enter Virtual Platform to get started at www.bioeconomyconference.com. Presented by Inland and Case Construction, it is the first Canadian Bioeconomy Conference to be fully digital and FREE to delegates.

“I can’t thank our sponsors enough for their support of our conference and it’s only because of their support that we’re able to provide free registration,” says Rob van Adrichem, Chair of the volunteer Board that presents the Canadian Bioeconomy Conference and Exhibition. “By reducing any barrier to participation, we hope that many people from across Canada and around the world will join with us virtually and explore the critical roles of the circular bioeconomy in economic development, social prosperity, and environmental sustainability.”

First held in 2004 and subsequently every second year in Prince George, BC, the Canadian Bioeconomy Conference and Exhibition is the longest-running and largest event of its kind in Canada. First conceived with a focus on bioenergy, the conference now explores the full value chain of the forest-based bioeconomy, from the sustainability of forests through to materials, chemicals, and energy.
