The Drum Dryers Symposium: Developing Best Practices for Safer Operations will include presentations from wood pellet producers and subject matter experts on learnings and experiences, the current state of, and new approaches to, drum dryers safety. The Wood Pellet Association of Canada is hosting the event in collaboration with the BC Forest Safety Council and media sponsor Canadian Biomass.
An outcome of the Symposium will be a proposed drum dryer working group. Resources will be created and shared to help support the continuous improvement of dryers and the enhancement of the sector’s safety culture.
Date: April 4
Time: 9-11 am (PT) / 1-3 pm (AT)
Who should attend: managers, supervisors, maintenance staff, safety coordinators and specialists, and engineers.
