Heat and CO2 coming from the Resolute pulp mill in St-Félicien, Que., is powering one of the most efficient greenhouses in the country, the Toundra Greenhouse. The $38-million greenhouse project uses state-of-the-art Dutch technology to produce amazing results: 360 cucumbers growing per square metre, far more than the forecasted 275 per square metre.
