A daily checklist for chipper and grinder maintenance

All operators should incorporate daily inspection of their chipper or grinder before and after operation, writes Mike Delegato, parts marketing manager for Peterson Pacific Corp. Here are some of his tips.

Grinding out success

Talby Mckay knows all about working the daily grind, literally. He has been working with biomass grinders for 18 years. In 2013, he started Northern Biomass Consulting, identifying a need for training and management services for grinding companies.

Electric horizontal grinder designed to reduce operating, maintenance costs

To help customers process increased volumes of waste materials, Rotochopper introduced a new 1,000-hp dual-motor drive option for the B-66 E electric-powered horizontal grinder.

Drum chipper operates on tight landings, diverse terrain

The Peterson 3310B drum chipper has a 540-hp (402 kW) Tier III or Tier IV Caterpillar engine, giving it the power to handle up to 24-inch (61 cm) diameter logs.

Going strong after 35 years in the grinding business

Celebrating its 35th anniversary in 2016, Peterson Pacific is continuing to expand its Oregon facility while fostering the ongoing development of new machines and machine innovations.
