To combat the issue of a changing fibre supply, in Q1 2019, Pinnacle decided to move forward with plans to upgrade the dryer at the Williams Lake facility, transitioning from a rotary dryer to a Stela bed dryer. The upgrades were completed over the summer, and has brought production capacity back up to 230,000 tonnes per year.
