CHAR Technologies moves forward with biomass to RNG project

The project will potentially produce 500,000 gigajoules per year (GJ/yr) of RNG, and 10,000 tonnes per year of CHAR’s proprietary CleanFyre biocoal (CleanFyre). It will be designed, built, operated and owned by CHAR.


Aemetis signs $2B agreement to engineer carbon zero plant

The plant will use waste wood to produce cellulosic hydrogen with a below zero carbon intensity, which is combined with renewable oils and zero carbon intensity hydroelectric electricity to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and renewable diesel.


Bioindustry projects among those funded by $176-million investment in Alberta
