Pinnacle and Drax Biomass rebrand to Drax

“We have made good progress integrating Pinnacle and this rebrand will provide a firm foundation for the business to meet the expected growth in global demand for sustainable biomass and our negative emissions technology BECCS,” said Drax’s executive vice-president of pellet operations Matt White.


Resolute purchases Quebec cogen facility

“With this cogen, we will maximize the use of biomass from our regional operations, generating green power and providing a platform for future growth and enhanced competitiveness in the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region,” said Remi G. Lalonde, president and chief executive officer of Resolute.


Drax starts operations at Leola, Arkansas pellet plant

Leola, in Grant County, Ark., is part of a $40 million investment by Drax in the state, creating approximately 30 new direct jobs across all the three sites planned for Arkansas as well as many more indirect jobs.
