FPAC raises questions around federal carbon revenue sharing plan

“Under this plan, I am worried for a number of our facilities – especially those in rural and northern Canada that face intensely cold weather, are long distances from their customers, and are challenged to access a lower carbon fuel supply because of where they are located,” said FPAC president and CEO Derek Nighbor.

FuelCell Energy offers the only known platform that can capture carbon dioxide from an external source while simultaneously producing power.


Shell becomes first supplier of SAF to customers in Singapore

The SAF supplied is made from waste products and sustainable feedstocks and will be blended with conventional jet fuel. The first batch of SAF is blended in Europe and aims to test and verify the supply chain for SAF that Shell has established in Asia.


NS biomass power generation facility offline after stack falls in high winds

Brooklyn Power, a biomass power generation facility in Brooklyn, N.S., is temporarily offline after high winds last week caused extensive damage to the plant and a warehouse.
