Prodesa will design and supply a new plant in Laos that will produce 120,000 mton/year of wood pellets, consolidating the company’s expansion in Southeast Asia.
The raw material of the plant will be wood chips from acacia, a hardwood on the “very” hard spectrum. This type of wood is not so difficult to find in these latitudes and is a well known raw material for Prodesa, as the company has other references in Southeast Asia that are already operating with the same feedstock.
Progranul equipment and a 268m2 belt dryer will make the core of the plant, and are essential for the plant to meet the yearly production.
