Nairn Centre pellet plant gets federal support for final planning

Enaadmaagehjik in northeastern Ontario is advancing final planning for a pellet plant in Nairn Centre thanks to funding from Federal Economic Development Agency for Northern Ontario.


Trois-Rivières, Que., issued BDO Zone A rating for woody biomass

The Trois-Rivières BDO Zone extends 150-km driving distance from the city and is rated for 475,000 dry metric tons per year of woody biomass within a 150-kilometre driving distance from the city.


Construction underway at Vancouver landfill for renewable natural gas facility

“This is our largest RNG project to date and the RNG generated from the landfill will be delivered into the local gas distribution system as a low-carbon energy source,” said Roger Dall’Antonia, president and CEO of FortisBC.
