B.C. announces new funding for forestry sector

The Government of B.C. has announced it will contribute upwards of $5.1 million into seven forest-sector capital projects and five planning projects in communities across the province.


WFP and USW ratify new collective agreement

Western Forest Products Inc. recently announced that its hourly employees represented by United Steelworkers Local 1- 1937 have voted to ratify a new collective agreement, replacing the collective agreement that expired on June 14, 2024.
