More than 1,900 Ontarians with low-back pain problems have received care under the Primary Care Low-Back Pain pilot project. In the fall of 2014, the Ministry of Health announced seven primary care centres across Ontario as the pilot sites, consisting of family health teams, community health centres, nurse practitioner-led clinics and aboriginal health access centres.
