Ontario health spending not keeping pace with aging population: FAO

A growing and aging population is adding pressure to Ontario's health-care system and spending isn't keeping up – a situation that could result in compromised quality of care if left unaddressed, the province's fiscal watchdog has warned.

Biopsychosocial aspect of pain

The biopsychosocial model proposes examining patients from a lens that incorporates the biological (physical or chemical alterations) and psychological (mental health and personal factors), in the context of the social determinants of health for each individual. The purpose of this commentary was to summarize the BPS model and provide the authors’ recommendations for integrating it into chiropractic education and practice.


Opinion: Tough love

The longer I practice, the harder it is to give business practice advice because what works for one person doesn’t work for another. Additionally, very few people will discard their old failing ways in exchange for what you recommend for improvement. So, it is about time that I administer some tough love and tell you the truth about why chiropractors struggle in practice.
