A leading international mining group was modernizing its 60-year-old Canadian aluminum smelter facility and sought out a compact and economically viable switchgear for 22 bus stations to be installed at eight substation locations.
The group was impressed by S&C’s remote supervisory Vista® Underground Distribution Switchgear because of its compact size, remote supervisory capability, visible isolation, and fault-interrupting capability.
