Victoria Beach firefighters delay resignation vote

Volunteer firefighters in the rural municipality of Victoria Beach, Man., have agreed to delay a vote that will determine whether or not they will resign.


Ontario expands cancer coverage for firefighters

Rookie and veteran firefighters alike packed the apparatus bay at Cambridge Fire Headquarters Thursday to hear Ontario Labour Minister Kevin Flynn announce extended health coverage for three additional types of cancer. 


Fundraiser to support and honour fallen firefighters

Deputy Fire Chief Julien Bergeron from Alberta’s Northern Sunrise County Protective Services has organized a fundraiser to raise awareness for firefighter health and fitness and funds for the Canadian Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
