Quebec firefighters seek more support to deal with PTSD

Quebec firefighters are seeking help from the provincial government to deal with an increase in the number of reported cases of post-traumatic stress. Data provided by the Montreal firefighters’ union shows that the number of diagnosed cases of PTSD has jumped from six in 2013 to 22 in 2018.


Fire protection companies convicted for multiple fire code violations

The City of Toronto says fire safety companies tasked with conducting inspections at three properties in the city have been fined and put on probation for violations of the Ontario Fire Code.
