Ex-fire chief sentenced to nine months for fraud

A former Gananoque, Ont., fire chief who defrauded Gananoque, the Township of Leeds and the Gananoque Firefighters Association was sentenced to nine months in jail on Tuesday.


A west coast search and rescue is looking for new members

The Central Okanagan Search and Rescue (COSAR) says it is looking for people who have a strong outdoor recreation skill set, are reasonably fit, willing to learn, and can work in a team environment.
