Montreal firefighter taken to hospital after three-alarm fire

A firefighter has been taken to hospital after a three-alarm fire forced eight apartments to be evacuated Sunday evening.


P.E.I. fire department moves into new emergency services building

P.E.I.’s Cross Roads Fire Department has moved into a new $6.9 million emergency services facility in Stratford, P.E.I. The department is now set up and responding to emergencies out of the new location.


Calgary launches online emergency preparedness tool for kids

Calgary kids have a new online tool to help them understand emergencies that may happen in their city. The Ready Squad was developed by the Calgary Emergency Management Agency to take a fun spin on teaching and training children aged seven to 12 about emergency skills and preventative actions.
