Out of an abundance of caution – and to ensure we do the right things for our readers and sponsors – we have postponed OptiSaw East in Quebec City until fall 2020.
We are working with our venue to solidify a new date, and will provide an update as soon as we have confirmation. For those who have registered as attendees, your tickets will be automatically transferred once the new date is set.
We look forward to putting on a great event in the fall, with speakers from industry-leading manufacturers presenting on cutting-edge sawmilling technologies and processes, sharing case studies and providing valuable insight into the future of sawmilling.
OptiSaw West
OptiSaw West, set for June 4 in Kelowna, B.C., is continuing as planned with an exciting preliminary agenda already in place.
Sessions will cover live chip tracking, ultrasonic systems for defect detection, automating QC systems, X-ray fingerprint technology from Europe, the science of mill management, and more!
PLUS: This year's OptiSaw West includes a pre-conference industry tour on June 3. Attendees can join us for a site visit to one of North America's premier mass timber manufacturers, Structurlam, and then enjoy an afternoon wine tour at a celebrated Okanagan winery. Tour seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
