Completing a major debarker re-build without lost time may be a dream for sawmillers, but for MYD it’s just another successful start up. Founded in 2011 and based in Roberval, QC, MYD specializes in the optimization and maintenance of wood processing plants. It was commissioned by an Ontario client to refurbish and install a used debarker (2003) and to an update another on the same site. After nine weeks of intensive work, the installation and the update of the other debarker was completed inside three days, without lost production time.
