You can find us over the next few months at the Alberta Forest Products Association Conference in Jasper, Alberta (Sept. 21-23); the Timber Processing and Energy Expo (booth 227) in Portland, Oregon (Sept. 28-30); Intersaw (booth 2025) in Montreal, Quebec (Nov. 2-3); and the Optisaw Conference in Montreal (Nov.4).
HewSaw has now installed more than 400 machines in over 30 countries, including over 70 single pass machines here in North America. The Finland-based company also installed its first sawline on this side of the Atlantic two years ago with a major project at the Idaho Forest Group (IFG) mill in Lewiston, Idaho. The new HewSaw at IFG processes logs up to 21.5 inches in diameter and can produce up to eight edged side boards, eliminating the need for downstream edgers.
