West Fraser to reduce production at Fraser Lake and Quesnel sawmills

The reduction in lumber production is expected to impact approximately 60 employees at Fraser Lake and 75 employees at Quesnel sawmill over the first and second quarter of 2019.

Government invests $15M in integrated wood pellet and sawmill complex

Once the complex is built, the mill will manufacture 210,000 metric tons of wood pellets per year; use 450,000 metric tons of biomass; and create 40 new jobs for mill operations.
