Ontario invests $5M in province’s first CLT plant

According to a government news release, the $32 million manufacturing facility will be one of North America’s first fully automated cross-laminated timber plants.


Canfor to shut down Mackenzie sawmill, reduce shifts at Isle Pierre

The indefinite curtailment at Mackenzie is effective immediately, while the Isle Pierre sawmill will be permanently reduced from two shifts to one shift as of Sept. 20, 2019.


Tolko, Pinnacle announce partnership to build northern Alberta pellet plant

The limited partnership agreement will see each company own a 50 per cent share of the new $54-million plant, Northern Pellet Limited Partnership.
