Sustainable commitment: BC logger works to rehabilitate fire-damaged stands

In 2018, wildfires burned 75 per cent of the Cheslatta Community Forest and the surrounding timber area, making much of the stands uneconomical to harvest. But Cheslatta Forest Products came up with a plan: they applied to FESBC for funding to rehabilitate burnt stands, and have seen great success.
