SFI announces new partnership to develop urban and community forest standard

SFI will collaborate with five urban forestry leaders – American Forests, Arbor Day Foundation, the International Society of Arboriculture, the Society of Municipal Arborists, and Tree Canada – to develop the new standard.

BC invests $5M to help community forests complete wildfire risk reduction projects

The money will be allocated through the BC Community Forest Association to 15 community forest agreement holders, to fund 44 wildfire risk reduction projects.
