NAHB calls for US to end lumber tariffs, boost domestic production

The National Association of Home Builders urged the Biden administration to increase domestic production of timber from federal lands and to work with Canada on a new softwood lumber agreement that will eliminate tariffs.

Ontario, feds negotiating agreement to conserve woodland caribou

The proposal includes measures that will help enhance caribou conservation in a way that will mitigate the socioeconomic impacts on communities and measures the impacts on different industries and projects.
