Lumber sales low as Nova Scotia bursts into flames: Madison's

Sales of lumber across North America remained quite low. Wildfires in Alberta decreased somewhat but were still a huge problem, as major forest fires erupted in Nova Scotia.


Saskatchewan sees record-breaking exports; semi-chemical wood pulp up 51%

Saskatchewan's total value of exports to the world reached a record breaking $52.6 billion in 2022. Non-agriculture manufacturing and processing export growth was led by increases in semi-chemical wood pulp at 51%.


B.C. gives $4M towards hydrogen-powered clean transportation at B.C. ports

B.C. is providing $4 million to support the BC Hydrogen Ports Project, one of the first of its kind in Canada.
