Rayonier and PotlatchDeltic announce massive merger

The forest products sector in the U.S. received news of a massive merger on Oct.14 when Rayonier announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to combine in an all-stock merger of equals with PotlatchDeltic, creating the second-largest publicly traded timber and wood products in North America.
