There are endless career options for mobile crane operators. Mobile crane and hoisting equipment operators service and operate the hoist and swing equipment used to move machinery, materials, and large objects. Mobile crane operators service and operate booms mounted on crawlers or traveling, fixed, or climbing-type hoisting equipment with a vertical mast and jib. This program will prepare apprentice mobile crane operators for the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training First Period theory and practical examinations. The program is available throughout Alberta, including Lloydminster, Bonnyville, and Grande Prairie in spring 2019.

Since 1967, drivers on Winnipeg’s Portage Avenue have been accustomed to the sight of a Lockheed T-33 Silver Star jet, which was erected as a monument in Woodhaven Park.
