Mini cranes help aircrafts fight wildfires

Ideally, helicopter and airplane maintenance and repair happens in the comfort of a hanger, but sometimes it needs to be done out in the field. Mini cranes recently helped plane and copter maintenance personnel perform repair work on machines fighting wildfires in the west.


Crane lifts injured construction worker out of subway construction hole

A construction worker suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries while working on the Crosslinx Eglinton LRT project. Crews used a crane to lift the patient about 30 metres up from the subway tunnel.


Four new cranes downtown Vancouver

For the first time in a very long time there are four tower cranes visible on downtown Vancouver’s skyline. It’s the latest record set by a boom in major construction that kicked off in 2016 and has continued unabated, even amid this year’s COVID-19 pandemic.
