In 2011 David Uram founded his first company in London, Ont. (www.blackoutblinds.ca) which manufactured window covers. He learned how to build a manufacturing business and how to automatically acquire new customers online each month. In 2013, he sold his business and began consulting with software companies to develop their online marketing and offline sales processes. From the inception of his first business to today he has helped many Southwestern Ontario manufacturers develop their businesses using online sales and marketing methods. His current business, Manufacturing Customers Inc. helps manufacturers navigate online and offline marketing and sales methods to grow their business.
Jason Bates: Business Development (LinkedIn)
Jason has worked in the southwest Ontario manufacturing sector for more than 20 years. Starting in the industrial supply field, he gained valuable experience working with manufacturers on plant floor issues to improve efficiencies and provide cost savings. Through this role he has facilitated best practice sharing and benchmarking between manufacturers throughout the region. He is also Manager of the London Region Manufacturing Council, an industry-driven council fostering the growth and prosperity of the manufacturing sector in the London region.
